Error: Insufficient or higher print page yield than OEM page yield

    Reason:
Due to abnormal coverage, there is a deviation in the printed page yield.

①After a period of printing, it is sometimes found that the page yield on the status page is insufficient or higher than the OEM page yield. The main reason for this is the abnormal coverage of printing. The published page output of an OEM cartridge is calculated based on the number of pages that can be printed at 5% page coverage. If the printed coverage is higher than 5%, the number of printable pages will decrease. And it won’t reach the estimated page yield and the remaining amount of toner will reach 0% in advance. In addition, if the print coverage is less than 5%, the number of printable pages will be higher than the OEM page yield.

②The print coverage is determined by the type of document being printed and the detected page coverage. The abnormal toner output (more or less decided by toner flow) will cause the printer to detect the print coverage and the actual document coverage rate is different. Then the cartridge won’t reach the OEM page yield or the printer shows there is still some toner remained in the cartridge, but the toner inside has been exhausted.

Error: The status page shows the toner level is low or the amount of toner displayed on the printer is insufficient

    Reason:
The amount of toner in the cartridge is insufficient or the printer abnormally detects the amount of toner and forcibly rewrites the chip information.

    Solution:
①Check whether there is an abnormality in the cartridge’s toner detection unit, causing abnormal toner detection and rewriting the chip information.
②Check whether the seal on the cartridge has been pulled out. If it is not pulled out, it will cause the printer to misjudge the toner is insufficient and rewrite the chip information.

Error Code: "10.00.00 Supply memory error"

    Reason:
This error code indicates abnormal communication between the chip and the printer, resulting the chip can be recognized.

    Solution:
①Check whether the test environment is good. And the static interference leads to wrong communication between the chip and the printer.
②Check whether the chip matches the printer and whether the other model chips are installed on the cartridge.

    Error Code:  "10.10.0X"
    Remarks: X=0, 1, 2, 3, 4. 0 stands for BK, 1stands for C, 2 stands for M, 3stands for Y, 4 stands for drum unit.

    Reason:
There is no communication between the printer and the chip, resulting the chip cannot be recognized.

①Improper chip placement, chip contacts blocked by foreign objects, and damaged drum unit cause poor contact between the chip contacts and the printer.
②Chip data cannot be recognized by the printer.

    Solution:
①Check whether the printer probe is in good condition and ensure that the probe is not deformed or damaged. Before install the chip on the printer, you can color the chip contacts with a roller pen, then install and take out the chip to observe the scratch left by the printer probe. According to this, you can judge whether the printer probe and the chip are in good contact (use a deep-colored roller pen).
②Check whether the chip is correctly placed in the tested cartridge’s chip slot (such as misalignment, low position, etc.).
③Note if there are other printers of the same model. If so, it is advisable to test the problem chip on another printer to see if the same problem occurs.

Error Code: "Supply margin error" or "10.0X.10 Supply memory error"
    Remarks: X=0, 1, 2, 3, 4. 0 stands for BK, 1stands for C, 2 stands for M, 3stands for Y, 4 stands for drum unit.

    Reason:
Abnormal communication between the chip and the printer or data exception.

    Solution:
①Check if there is a problem with the chip installation and if there is a chip installed in the printer.
②The printer reports the "Supply margin error" or "10.0X.10 Supply memory
error" during normal printing. An abnormal operation is detected to cause the printer output an abnormal command and rewrite the chip information, which made the chip unrecognized.
③If the tested chip is installed on a color printer, there may be chip mixing installation or two chips with the same color. Then the printer will report "Supply margin error".
④When the above three kinds of solutions can’t solve the problem, you can send back the abnormal chip for data analysis. Apex will continue to improve product quality based on your feedbacks.

Error Code: "Install XX Toner Cartridge" or "Install Supply"

    Reason:

The printer doesn’t detect the toner cartridge or the toner cartridge isn’t installed.

    Solution:
