Geehy/Apexmic Showcases Full-Chain Printer Controller and Cartridge Encryption Chip Solutions at the

Zhuhai, China – October 16, 2025 — Geehy Microelectronics Co., Ltd. ("Geehy Micro") showcased its comprehensive printer solutions at the 19^th RemaxWorld Expo, held at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center. Under the theme "End-to-End Solutions: Building a New Printer Industry Ecosystem," Geehy presented a full lineup of products at Booth 2115 under its APEXMIC brand, including laser and inkjet cartridge encryption chips, printer controller SoCs, and Bluetooth micro-printing chips. It also unveiled smart upgrade equipment solutions designed for distribution, retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce channels, accelerating the intelligent transformation of the printing industry.

At the concurrent Global Industry Summit, Mr. Ding Li, Vice President of Geehy Micro, delivered a keynote titled "Building the Foundation for Trusted Computing: Geehy Chips Empowering ta New Printer Industry Ecosystem." He noted the security risks of relying on imported chips and emphasized Geehy's "Dual-Chip Deep Integration" strategy, combining self-developed CPU cores (XuanTie, RISC-V) with proprietary image processing IP. Geehy's independent cartridge security chip and authentication system enable bidirectional authentication and encrypted data transmission, ensuring full-link secure printing. These technologies deliver faster startup, smarter cartridge management, and lower power consumption, embedding "China's secure DNA in every printed page." Geehy now offers a fully localized printing solution covering controller SoCs and security chips. Its core chip technologies also extend to industrial control, automotive, and new energy fields.

In an exclusive interview with Recycling Times on China's office industry progress during the 14th Five-Year Plan, Mr. Ding introduced the KP3701 printer controller SoC, a key breakthrough in China's first domestically developed color laser printer. Developed under the national program "Development of Main Control SoC for Color Multifunction Printers and Consumables SoC" (2021YFB2206200), KP3701 now powers mass-produced A4 color printers, advancing China's information innovation and data security efforts.

At the 2025 Global Printing Consumables Industry Awards Ceremony, Geehy Micro received the "Remanufacturing Achiever Award" for its UNISMART upgrade device and USTATION overseas service platform. UNISMART supports eco-friendly cartridge recycling and resetting, while USTATION offers professional overseas support, helping e-commerce and end users quickly address firmware upgrade issues and boost operational efficiency.
