Tips to Print a Status Page on Kyocera V/VII Series Printers

Hi, everyone!

Our “Step by Step” series videos officially begin today. Now we’re going to share with you how to print a status page on Kyocera printers.


The Kyocera printer status page allows you to view firmware version information and supplies usage status which can help us troubleshoot issues that might occur in printers. The Kyocera V/VII printers are divided into those with a display screen and those without a display screen, see the detailed steps below.


I: Printer without a Display Screen

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Install chips that match the printer’s model and region.

Note: Before printing the status page, make sure the printer is functioning correctly.

3. Install the indicated cartridges into the printer until the processing indicator flashes yellow.

4. Press the  "GO" key for about 2s and release to print out the Status Page.


II: Printer with a Display Screen

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Install chips that match the printer’s model and region.

Note: Before printing the status page, make sure the printer is functioning correctly.

3. Install the indicated cartridges into the printer until the processing indicator flashes yellow.


4. Options for printing status pages vary slightly depending on different models. See the detailed steps below.

Solution 1

Steps: Menu→Report Print →“▶”→“▲▼”→Status Page→OK                                           

  

Solution 2

Steps: Report→OK→Report Print→OK→Status Page→OK

5. Complete printing.
