Hi, everyone!

Let's look at how to manually set the toner prompt threshold to advance or postpone the "Low" message. Printing will be more effective after setting the printer to stop printing when it appears "Very Low".

I: Change the "Low" Setting

During daily printing, we can advance or postpone the "Low" toner prompt according to the actual remaining toner cartridge life. Take the printer HP M329 as an example.

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Press the Setting button.

3. Select the Supplies menu.

4. Select Black Cartridge.

5. Press Black Cartridge.

6. Find Low Settings.

7. Open Low Settings (The default low threshold is 8).

To advance the notice, please set the low threshold to 10, 15, or 20. Then press Done.

To postpone the notice, please set the low threshold to 5 or 3. Then press Done.

II: Change the "Very Low" Setting

During daily printing, if you missed the "Very Low" prompt and continue printing, your printer may start printing blank pages, which can be avoided by adjusting the Supplies setting.

By taking the printer HP M329 as an example, here are the detailed operation steps.

1. Turn on the printer.

2. Press the Setting button.

3. Select the Supplies menu.

4. Select Black Cartridge.

5. Press Black Cartridge.

6. Press Very Low Setting.

7. Select one of the following options: Stop, Prompt, and Continue (The default choice is Stop). And Select Stop.

Following the above setting, the printer will stop printing when the cartridge reaches the Very Low threshold.

That's all for today.
