When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you must also reset the drum counter. If you reset the drum unit without replacing the drum counter, the machine will still report the error "Replace Drum".
Now I will show you how to reset a drum counter on two common types of printers by completing the following steps.
I: LED Screen Printer
1. Turn on the printer.
2. Hold down OK as you press the UP arrow.
3. Press OK to select Drum.
4. Press Down arrow to reset the drum unit counter.
5. Wait for the reset to complete.
II: Touch Screen Printer
1. Turn on the printer.
2. Press Cancel button.
3. Press and hold the Black toner for about 5 seconds.
4. Press Drum.
5. Press "Yes" to reset the drum unit counter.
6. Wait for the reset to complete.
